Roger and Gayle Beard, owners of Athens Hearing Aid Center, have a combined total experience of 50 years service in the hearing instrument industry. Together, they founded Athens Hearing Aid Center in 1994. Their original facility was located on Broad Street, just east of Alps Road. As a result of their continued business growth, they have since moved to their current location on Prince Avenue near Athens Regional Medical Center. In 2004, Jeff Vassy joined our team to better serve the needs of our growing patient practice.

Roger, Gayle and Jeff are all fully Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialists. Together they have collectively fitted thousands of patients all over the Southeastern United States with hearing aids from Athens Hearing Aid Center!

Hearing aids have become sophisticated electronic devices that have contributed a great deal to the treatment of hearing loss. There are many hearing aids on the market today and in the past several years we have seen remarkable improvements in their quality and sound processing abilities. At The Athens Hearing Aid Center we dispense a variety of hearing aids including digital, digitally programmable, bone conduction and power hearing aids.
